North Augusta, South Carolina, located directly across the Savannah River from Augusta, is an integral part of the Urban Area Master Plan. North Augusta and Augusta are each critical to the other's economic health and current revitalization. A short drive across either the 13th Street Bridge or the 5th Street Bridge allows North Augusta and Augusta residents to work, play and purchase goods in both cities.
