BEACON STATION (FORMERLY FOUNDRY PLACE)

About This Project

The Big Idea: Develop this node in historic Bethlehem where staff and students from the medical district, Augusta University and Paine College can live close to their work and school. Beacon Station is the flagship project within Augusta’s Laney Walker/Bethlehem revitalization area at the gateway to the Medical District. This mixed-use development will be attractive to anyone who would like to live in this historic area.

Time: Pre-development started in 2016. Pre-leasing of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments will begin the spring of 2019.

Details: Beacon Station is a 221-unit market rate mixed use developmental project costing an estimated $26 million. Acquisition of the site is complete, Brownfields remediation is finished and rezoning is complete. Project will be finished in 2019.

This site occupies 7.6 acres.
