Partridge Inn Reopens Today

The Walton Way hotel will hold a “soft opening” March 11, revealing fully renovated rooms on the fourth and fifth floors. The remaining rooms on the first through third floors will reopen in time for the Masters Tournament, said Melissa Webb, a spokeswoman for the property.

On March 11, The P.I. Bar & Grill also will reopen to the public, with the first Sunday brunch scheduled for April 5, Webb said.

The five-story boutique hotel is nearing the end of a $6 million renovation project by its new owners, who purchased the property for $4.25 million in an online auction last summer and started work in the fall.

All 144 guest rooms and bathrooms were gutted to give guests a “modern, Southern-charm” experience. The newly-painted hotel also received infrastructure upgrades and repairs, along with new features in the restaurant and on the veranda.

Later this year, Partridge Inn’s affiliation with Hilton Worldwide’s new Curio “boutique” brand will become official and more renovations, including installation of a cafe and refurbished lobby and meeting space, will take place.
